Jimmy Lakey

Many know Jimmy Lakey as a strong voice in American radio. However, others know that he is both a gifted communicator and an innovative leader whose energy and impact span into the world of business, politics, and entertainment, & the non-profit sector.

Jimmy has committed his life to making global impact. He has used his business acumen & entrepreneurial passion to grow business endeavors. He has implemented a business model where large portions of his proceeds help to fund humanitarian causes around the globe.

Jimmy is the founder and president of World Changers International, a non-profit organization that works with youth around the globe, including extensive work to help orphans in Africa have access to education & other basic amenities. He is also the founder & president of “epicentre entertainment” which focuses on promotion & creative investment in family entertainment events. Through these companies, Jimmy has started “Jimmy Lakey Presents”, “Nation Shakers”, “Change Your Planet”, and “River’s Promise”; and has led partnerships with organizations such as Live Nation, House of Blues, AEG LIVE, Gospel Music Association, Christian Outreach Centre, and others.

Jimmy serves as the self-appointed chaplain at Johnny’s Cigar Bar in Boulder, Colorado, where he can often be found on a leather chair. He lives with his wife (Carrie) and son (River), in Colorado along with their dog (Bishop).

Jonathan Greany

Jonathan Greany began his work with World Changers International in 2007 as Jimmy Lakey’s Personal Assistant. From conferences to coffee to pictures frames and global travel, Jonathan did his best to keep up with the fast paced world of Jimmy Lakey.

In 2008 Jonathan took over the position of the Boulder Office Coordinator with World Changers International and is now the Field and Operations Director for River’s Promise. Jonathan oversees volunteer efforts, fundraising events & campaigns, and will soon spend an extended amount of time on the ground in Rwanda to open up River’s Promise Headquarters in the capital city of Kigali.

Jonathan has had the special pleasure to be able to travel multiple times with River’s Promise to meet and hold the very children we work to sponsor every day. This adds a unique conviction and perspective to each letter written and email sent.

Jonathan also spends his time as the music director for a college age and twenty-somethings church in north Denver where he oversees teams of musicians and tech crews in an effort to see people love Jesus and come to bend their lives around Him.
